Our mission
RFA (Rocket Factory Augsburg) offers hassle-free space transportation with our End to End solution. We help you realize your business ideas on payload platforms launched from our own spaceport. We guarantee to launch for your dedicated orbits, at your required timelines in a highly reliable and flexible manner. We are the launch service you always dreamed of.
We are strategically backed by family owned industrial players – OHB and MT Aerospace.
Both companies are involved in aerospace ventures such as building satellites (Galileo satellite constellation) or space launch systems (Ariane 5 & 6).
With their support we had a considerable head start in developing our RFA One rocket.
Our team consists of space industry veterans.
The majority of our team members has worked on multiple space launch vehicles.
Our experiences range from comparable micro launcher systems, to satellite constructing or space infrastructure.
Together we have one goal: get everyone to space.
We’re built around customer needs, and to make your life easier.
Our entire system is based on comprehensive analysis of a ESA study, and multiple customer surveys.
Orbit, payload, satellite bus and flexibility requirements are purely based on customer needs and not what would be easier to build.
