DIVERSITY AT RFA

WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER

We have one mission – we want to democratize space and make it accessible to everyone.

To achieve this, we need diverse ideas and perspectives. We are dedicated to building an inclusive culture that values different viewpoints and strengthens the RFA community every day.

MEET THE TEAM

Maria Terekhova, Grouplead Business Development

My main responsibility is to identify and establish new collaborative opportunities for RFA with the support of institutions like the European Commission, ESA and the German Aerospace Center. My aim is to foster strategic partnerships, drive programs forward and support technological development. RFA is special because we have a drive and unity toward a shared goal - this collective spirit is visibly evident in the eyes of every team member.

Filipe Barreiro, Grouplead Orbital Propulsion

From an intern working on the development of our Helix engine to helping our 3D printing department set up procedures for protype engines before finally ending up in the Redshift OTV team where I am responsible for the propulsion, thermal and fluidics systems. My journey at RFA has been quite an adventure. Working on developing a completely new Fenix propulsion system has been incredibly exciting. Engine hotfires also make everything better!

Adrian Adrian, Assembly Technician

I was drawn to RFA for its innovative approach to space technology and its commitment to changing the space industry. The chance to work with new technology in a young, motivated team was irresistible to me. As Technical Lead of Engine Assembly, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing our engines come to life! Every project is unique, but the first successful integrated stage 1 test was a truly unforgettable experience. I love that we have such a multicultural team of people, all highly skilled and incredibly supportive. There is always an exciting feeling of achieving the impossible here!

Leticia Araujo, Structural Dynamics Engineer

I started as an intern in structural dynamics in July 2022, completed my master's thesis as a working student and am now a full-time employee. Working at RFA has allowed my passion for space and vibration to align with my daily work life ensuring rockets and payloads can withstand launch loads. The interdisciplinary approach has expanded my skills in structural analysis, testing, programming and data post-processing. RFA is special because of our motivated team and the unique and exciting experience of getting one step closer to orbit every day.
