Our main test site is in the famous mining town of Kiruna, Sweden. Here, we put all our theory into action and test our Helix engines to ensure optimal performance in full flight configuration. It was also the site of our landmark IST hot fire test in June 2023. If you want to experience stunning landscapes and test rockets with the Northern Lights as your backdrop, then you could be a good fit for our site in Sweden. See our job openings below.

Maria Terekhova, Grouplead Business Development
My main responsibility is to identify and establish new collaborative opportunities for RFA with the support of institutions like the European Commission, ESA and the German Aerospace Center. My aim is to foster strategic partnerships, drive programs forward and support technological development. RFA is special because we have a drive and unity toward a shared goal - this collective spirit is visibly evident in the eyes of every team member.
Vincenzo Messina, Test Data Engineer
My job in the propulsion team is to process, analyse and take actions from the data coming from our tests facilities in Augsburg and in the rest of Europe. When I joined RFA in 2022, we still had to do our first complete engine hotfire, so it was incredible to witness first hand the evolution of our tests from turbopump cold flows to full first stage tests. The amount of knowledge, experience and empowerment that comes from working in a company like RFA on such an incredible project is something that very few other places in the world can rival.
Adrian Adrian, Assembly Technician
I was drawn to RFA for its innovative approach to space technology and its commitment to changing the space industry. The chance to work with new technology in a young, motivated team was irresistible to me. As Technical Lead of Engine Assembly, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing our engines come to life! Every project is unique, but the first successful integrated stage 1 test was a truly unforgettable experience. I love that we have such a multicultural team of people, all highly skilled and incredibly supportive. There is always an exciting feeling of achieving the impossible here!
Sarah Odinukwe, IT Support Specialist
I joined RFA in February 2025 as a full time IT Support Specialist and it's been fun-filled. The people, the diversity — amazing! From the collaborative team environment to the opportunities for growth and learning, there’s always a strong current of positive energy here. I’m proud to play a part in supporting the tech backbone of a team that’s pushing the boundaries of innovation and space exploration while maintaining a strong sense of community. My ideas are heard, my work is valued, and my growth is genuinely supported. I feel motivated, appreciated, and excited about getting closer to orbit with each work day — and that fuels my drive to deliver my best every single day.
